What to Expect Your Onboarding Journey, Step by Step
You will complete a short intake form, followed by a structured consultation and assessment process with our clinical team.
Intake Interview
Your journey begins with a structured, one-hour conversation with our clinical team. We will gather essential background information about your child — their developmental history, current strengths, areas of concern, and your family’s goals. This conversation forms the foundation of everything we design together going forward.
Natural Environment Observation
Following the intake interview, one of our behavior technicians conducts a two-hour observation of your child in a natural setting such as school or a play environment. This allows us to assess behaviors and skills in real-world contexts, gaining valuable insight into how your child interacts within their typical daily environments.
Individualized Program Development
Using insights gathered from the intake interview, natural observation, and a thorough baseline assessment, our clinical team designs a fully customized behavior intervention plan. This plan outlines specific target goals, objectives, and the strategies we will use to help your child grow and thrive.
Parent & Caregiver Meeting
Before therapy begins, we hold a dedicated meeting with parents and caregivers to walk through the intervention plan in clear, straightforward terms. Together we review home goals, discuss what to expect, and provide initial parent coaching so your family feels confident and prepared from day one.
